Beef Pot Pie

Creator: Cayle Alldredge | Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes | Portion: 4 servings | Kid Factor: medium-high


  • 3 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 3 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 4 Tablespoons of EVOO or coconut oil
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 1/4 cup of flour
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 bullion cube
  • 1 cup of almond milk

Salt, pepper & thyme

Pie crust - you can make, or use store bought


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Brown the beef
  • Melt oil in dutch oven
  • Add carrots, peas, onions and celery
  • Sautés for 2 minutes
  • Add in the broth and bouillon cube
  • A gravy will form
  • Add in almond milk
  • Cook 4 minutes
  • Season with salt, pepper and thyme
  • Pour mix over pie crust
  • Add top layer of pie crust
  • Make slits in the crust
  • Bake 30 minutes
